May Wrap Up

I haven't posted one of these in a long time so I thought this month was a good month to start. I read a grand total of 6 books in May, which considering I had exams to study for isn't bad!

The first book I read in May was Wool by Hugh Howey. This is a bind up of the first 5 books, which were originally released as ebooks. This is the whole of the Wool storyline, but is only the first book in the Silo Series. I gave this novel 4/5 and I have already purchased the second book Shift, which I hope to read soon.
The second book I read in May was Taste of Darkness by Maria V Snyder. This is the third and final novel in the Healer trilogy, and I received a copy from the publisher in return for a review. I really enjoyed this trilogy and this was a great finale, I gave it 5/5.
I also read A is for Alibi by Sue Grafton. This is the first novel in the Detective Kinsey Millhone series. I had owned this novel for a long time and finally got round to reading it last month. This was an ok novel, but not the best crime novel I've ever read, I gave it 3/5.
The next book I read in May was Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. This is the first novel in the Seraphina series, and I really enjoyed this novel. I gave it 4.5/5.
The fifth book I read was The Silent World of Nicholas Quinn by Colin Dexter. This is the third book in the Inspector Morse series, and I gave it 3.5/5.
The last book I read in May was The Fearance by Rob Badcock. This is the second book in the Meskitoe Trilogy, and I received a copy from the author in return for an honest review. I thought this was an enjoyable read and I gave it 3.5/5 stars.
